Our AGM took place on Thursday 25 April at Coventry Building Society Arena and our results are now available.

How do I vote?
Voting online, by post and in branch has now closed.
Vote on the day of the event
You’ll have the opportunity to vote in person and online at our AGM on Thursday 27 April 2023. If voting in person, please bring identification.
How to attend the AGM
Attending in person?
We'd love for you to join us. The meeting starts at 3pm but you’ll have the chance to chat to our Board members from 2pm on Thursday 27 April 2023 in The Premier Lounge, Coventry Building Society Arena, Judds Lane, Longford, Coventry CV6 6AQ.
Coaches will be provided to take members from Coventry Railway Station and Coventry Bus Station. For all details please click here.
Please bring either the front page of your voting form or some evidence of membership, such as a passbook or statement.
Joining online?
If you're unable to attend the meeting in person, you can join the meeting live from 3pm here. You'll need your two security codes to watch online which you'll find on your proxy voting form or in the invite sent by email.

How do I get to the AGM?
There's an hourly train to Coventry Building Society Arena from Coventry Station and several bus stops nearby. It's also easy to get there by car, using CV6 6AQ for your SatNav. You can find out more in the Visiting us section of the Arena website.
Two coaches will also be provided to take members from Coventry Rail Station and Coventry Bus Station.
The exact pick up points will be:
- A Terry's coach will be waiting on the road approaching Coventry Rail Station. There'll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the window with staff on hand to assist. The coach will pick up at 1.30pm and arrive at the Coventry Building Society Arena by 2pm
- A Terry's coach will be waiting on Fairfax Street by Coventry Sports Centre, outside the Coventry bus station. There'll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the window with staff on hand to assist. The coach will pick up at 1.30pm and arrive at the Coventry Building Society Arena by 2pm
The coaches will return to these locations after the AGM finishes. They will leave at approximately 4.30pm.

You'll have the opportunity to vote at our AGM on Thursday 25 April 2024, whether you're attending in person or online. If voting in person, please bring identification and evidence of your membership. You'll also have the chance to chat to our colleagues from Financial Crime, Customer Services and the Community Team.

- The Central Six coach park next to Coventry Rail Station. A member of the CBS team will be with the coach and in the station to direct you, and there’ll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the coach window too. The coach will pick up at 1.15pm and then go on to the second pick up point.
- On Fairfax Street by Coventry Sports Centre, outside the Coventry Bus Station (Pool Meadow). There'll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the window with a member of the CBS team on hand to assist. The coach will pick up at 1.30pm and arrive at the Coventry Building Society Arena by 2pm.
The coach will return to these locations after the AGM finishes. They will leave the Coventry Building Society Arena at approximately 4.30pm.

Can I ask questions when watching online?
You can ask a question at any point during the meeting. Just click on the messaging icon, type your message and click send. All questions will be moderated before being sent to the Chair during the question and answer session.
You can also send questions in advance of the meeting; email them to agm@thecoventry.co.uk by midnight on 22 April 2024.
Am I eligible to vote in the AGM?
To vote in the AGM you must satisfy the following rules:
- You will be 18 years old or over on 25 April 2024
- You had a balance of no less than £100 in your savings account(s) on 31 December 2023 and have continued to have a share account up to the voting date; or
- You owed no less than £100 on a mortgage on 31 December 2023 and at the voting date
- You are the sole or first-named account holder in the Society’s records.
