How to vote

Online

You can vote online prior to the AGM and by midnight on Monday 20 April 2026. You'll need your two security codes which you can find on your AGM email or letter.

 

You can also join the meeting live online at 2pm on Thursday 23 April 2026. You'll need your two security codes which you can find on your AGM email or letter. If you haven't already, you'll also be able to submit an online vote during the live stream of the meeting.

Voting online, by post and in branch has now closed.

 

Vote on the day of the event
You’ll have the opportunity to vote in person and online at our AGM on Thursday 27 April 2023. If voting in person, please bring identification.

The meeting will be held at the Premier Lounge, Coventry Building Society Arena, Judds Lane, Longford, Coventry CV6 6AQ at 2pm on Thursday 23 April 2026, however you're welcome to join us from 1pm for a chat with our Board members.

We want the AGM to be as accessible as possible. The online coverage will include live captions, and we'll have hearing loop provision and signers supporting our presenters at the Coventry Building Society Arena. 

Am I eligible to vote in the AGM?

To vote at the AGM you must satisfy the following rules:
 

  1. You will be 18 years old or over on 23 April 2026.
  2. You had a balance of no less than £100 in your savings account(s) on 31 December 2025 and have continued to have a Share account up to the voting date; or
  3. You owed no less than £100 on a mortgage on 31 December 2025 and at the voting date.
  4. You are the sole or first-named account holder in the Society's records.
  5. You will need to bring one of the following with you as evidence of membership:
  • AGM notification letter
  • Passbook
  • Savings statement 
  • Mortgage statement.

How do I get to the AGM?

There's an hourly train to Coventry Building Society Arena from Coventry Station and several bus stops nearby. It's also easy to get there by car, using CV6 6AQ for your SatNav. You can find out more in the visiting us section of the Coventry Building Society Arena website.

 

A coach will also be provided at the following pick up points to take members to the AGM:

  • The Central Six coach park next to Coventry Rail Station. The coach will be there at 12.15pm and will then travel to the second pick up point.
  • Outside Coventry Sports Centre on Fairfax Street. The coach will be there at 12.30pm and will then travel to the Coventry Building Society Arena for 1pm.

 

There will be a Coventry Building Society sign in the window with our employees on hand to help.

 

The coach will return to these locations when the AGM finishes. It will leave Coventry Building Society Arena at approximately 3.40pm.

Can I vote during the meeting?

You'll be able to vote on the day of the meeting if you join us in person at the Coventry Building Society Arena or if you join the meeting live online. We encourage you to vote online ahead of the meeting by midnight on Monday 20 April 2026.

Can I ask questions when joining online?

You can ask a question at any point during the meeting. Just click on the messaging icon, type your message and click send. All questions will be moderated before being sent to the Chair during the question and answer session of the meeting.

You'll have the opportunity to vote at our AGM on Thursday 25 April 2024, whether you're attending in person or online. If voting in person, please bring identification and evidence of your membership. You'll also have the chance to chat to our colleagues from Financial Crime, Customer Services and the Community Team.

How to attend the AGM

Our AGM will be held on Thursday 25 April 2024 at 3pm in The Premier Lounge at Coventry Building Society Arena. You can either attend in person or join us online.

Joining online?

If you're unable to attend the meeting in person, you can join the meeting live from 3pm. You'll need your two security codes to watch online, which you'll find on your proxy form or in the invite sent by email.

Attending in person?

We'd love for you to join us in person. The meeting starts at 3pm but you’ll have the chance to chat to our Board members from 2pm on Thursday 25 April 2024 in The Premier Lounge, Coventry Building Society Arena, Judds Lane, Longford, Coventry CV6 6AQ.

 

A coach will be provided to take members from Coventry Railway Station and Coventry Bus Station. Find out further details.

 

Please bring either the front page of your voting form or some evidence of membership, such as a passbook or statement.

 

Important information

How do I get to the AGM?

  • The Central Six coach park next to Coventry Rail Station. A member of the CBS team will be with the coach and in the station to direct you, and there’ll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the coach window too. The coach will pick up at 1.15pm and then go on to the second pick up point.
  • On Fairfax Street by Coventry Sports Centre, outside the Coventry Bus Station (Pool Meadow). There'll be a Coventry Building Society sign in the window with a member of the CBS team on hand to assist. The coach will pick up at 1.30pm and arrive at the Coventry Building Society Arena by 2pm.

The coach will return to these locations after the AGM finishes. They will leave the Coventry Building Society Arena at approximately 4.30pm.

Can I vote during the meeting?

You'll be able to vote on the day of the meeting if you join us in person at the Coventry Building Society Arena or if you join the meeting online. We encourage you to vote online ahead of the meeting, by Monday 22 April 2024.

Can I watch the meeting online?

Yes, use the two security codes which you'll find on your proxy form or in the invite sent by email. You'll need both your security codes to log in. 

Can I ask questions when watching online?

You can ask a question at any point during the meeting. Just click on the messaging icon, type your message and click send. All questions will be moderated before being sent to the Chair during the question and answer session.
