Maintenance update

We’re giving our system a bit of a check up tonight from 11pm for a few hours. While we do that, our Online Services, password set-up service and savings account opening won't be available. We’ll be back up and running by the morning.

A relationship to be proud of

We’re delighted to be supporting The Royal British Legion. Every year since 2008, we’ve made a donation to the Legion based on how much you’ve saved in our Poppy accounts.

And in 2012 we made them our official corporate charity. Between the annual donation and fundraising, we've donated millions of pounds to the Legion.

Nearly £18 million

Since 2008, we've donated nearly £18 million to The Royal British Legion based on how much our members have saved in Poppy accounts. And since 2012 we've donated £300,000 from fundraising.

Our Thank You

Over 100 years ago our Servicemen set out to protect our country. Your home is your home because of the sacrifice they made. Over 1,200 of Coventry's own never made it back, but they'll always be part of our hearts and our city.

Last year we joined The Royal British Legion by saying Thank You to all of Coventry's fallen from The First World War.

"If it wasn't for the Legion, I wouldn't be where I am; the Legion played a massive part in my recovery."

Anna Pollock

Former Medic in the RAF

You’ll find Coventry Building Society staff helping wherever the Legion want us...

What could £300,000 fund?

A team of 75 Admiral Nurses. They each make over 25 home visits each month to families caring for a loved one with dementia. This helps them live as independently as possible.

What could £1,500 fund?

Food vouchers for 30 Service families facing financial hardship.

Are you making the most of your savings?

We know it’s been a difficult year for savers. The Bank of England Base Rate is at an all-time low, and while many of our variable accounts don’t track base rate, it still has an effect on how much we can pay our members.

This means we’ve had to make some really tough decisions about reducing the interest rates we pay.

Holiday fraud

Fraudsters are clever: they’ll use any situation to help them steal your money or your personal details. Since many of us are on the lookout for a holiday bargain, now is the time to be extra vigilant.

Members of our executive team are impersonated in latest email scam

We’ve seen an increase in reports of an email scam where members of our executive team are being impersonated, the latest ones mention our Chief Financial Officer Michele Faull.
