We’re required under the Building Societies Act to hold over 50% of our funding requirements through member deposits. The Society complements this retail funding by diversifying through MTNs, Covered Bonds and Securitisation issuance across international markets, to satisfy our funding strategy.

Our wholesale funding is raised through money markets deposits and a range of instruments, which are diversified across short and long term maturities. The minimum amount that can be placed with Treasury is £1 million.
