Terms and Conditions
Introduction
1. About us. Hi! We are Coventry Building Society with offices at Coventry House, Harry Weston Road, Binley, Coventry, West Midlands CV3 2TQ. We are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority, with reference number 150892. We are the promoter of the Promotion and will be referred to as we, us and our under these Terms.
2. About these Agents. The Promotion is being administered by our agents:
(a) Build Hollywood Ltd (trading as Jack Arts) whose company number is 02806042 and with registered offices at 15 Duncan Terrace, London, N1 8BZ (Promotion Agent); and
(b) Amondo Ltd whose company number is 09043853 and with registered offices at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (Data Agent).
3. About these Terms. These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern our Sunny Days Westfield Stratford City Event Promotion (the Promotion). By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable rules and guidelines. For any questions regarding this Promotion, you can email us at: marketing@thecoventry.co.uk.
4. Updates. We may update these Terms from time to time, however we will aim to make you aware of any significant changes in advance. If you continue with an entry under this Promotion, you agree to any updated Terms.
The promotion
5. The Prize.
(a) You have a chance to win only one of either:
(i) £150 Virgin Experience Day Voucher (total of 10 available),
(ii) £100 Dining Out Gift Card (total of 15 available),
(iii) £100 John Lewis Voucher (total of 20 available),
(v) £50 Amazon Voucher (total of 10 available) or
(vi) £10 Costa Coffee Voucher (total of 150 available) (the Prize).
(b) Each Prize will be selected at random by each Winner and is subject to availability on each day of the Promotion Period.
(c) One wooden stick will be available for each of the Prizes during the Promotion Period. There will be a maximum total of 205 wooden sticks throughout the Promotion Period, and they will be allocated to each day of the Promotion Period as follows:

(e) The wooden sticks will be buried in sand inside a bucket (the Sunny Bucket). The coloured end will be underneath the sand, with the plain end being visible to each Winner.
(f) All wooden sticks for the total number of Prizes allocated per each day of the Promotion Period will be added to the Sunny Bucket at the start of each day. This number will reduce throughout each day of the Promotion Period, as Winners claim their Prizes.
6. What is excluded from the Prize. The Prize is subject to the following exclusions:
The Prize is non-returnable, non-transferable and may not be re-sold. The Prize cannot be exchanged for another Prize, or for any cash value.
7. Eligibility.
a) This Promotion is open to United Kingdom residents who are 18 years old or over at the time of entry. You are not required to hold any savings or mortgage accounts with us to enter the Promotion, or to win a Prize.
b) This Promotion is not open to:
i. the employees, contractors or their immediate families or agents of us or the Agents; or
ii. anyone directly connected with the Promotion or Prize Draw.
8. Promotion Period. The Promotion will run between the following dates / times:
(a) on 20 November 2024 between 10:00 and 21:00 UK time (inclusive);
(b) on 21 November 2024 between 10:00 and 21:00 UK time (inclusive); and
(c) on 22 November 2024 between 10:00 and 21:00 UK time (inclusive).
9. Location of Promotion. The Promotion will be held at Westfield Stratford City, Montfichet Road, London, E20 1EJ.
10. How to enter the Promotion.
(a) When the Promotion Period begins, participants can enter the Promotion by completing the entry form (by entering their first name, last name and email address, and confirming at the very least that they accept these Terms) located at: https://form.amondo.com/gqmenbqu (Entry).
The Promotion is free to enter, however internet access and a valid email address are required. Only one Entry per person will be accepted for the entire duration of the Promotion Period.
(b) Once an Entry has been completed, the participant will have access into the competition machine which, when activated, will enable tokens showing our branding (Tokens) to be blown around the participant for the participant to grab (the Token-Grab Booth).
(c) Some of the Tokens will include the word ‘winner’ across both sides (the Winning Tokens).
(d) During each entry, one, and only one, Winning Token may be entered into the machine, alongside other non-winning Tokens.
(e) Once the participant is inside the Token-Grab Booth, our Agent will activate the machine and the Tokens will start to fly around the participant.
(f) The Token-Grab Booth will be active for a duration of 30 seconds (the Active Time). This period will be the same for each entry.
(g) The participant’s aim is to grab as many of the Tokens as possible during Active Time, to attempt to grab the Winning Token.
(h) The participants must return all Tokens, including any Winning Tokens, to the Promotion Agent upon exit from the Token-Grab Booth.
11. Our rights. We have the right at any time and for any reason to:
a) change the Prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value,
b) refuse or disqualify any Entry, and
c) cancel, suspend, or change the Promotion.
12. Selecting Winners. Any participant who grabs a Winning Ticket during the Token-Grab Booth’s Active Time will be a winner (Winner). There will be a maximum of 205 Winners during the Promotion Period, who will each win one Prize.
13. What happens if you win.
(a) Every Winner will be required to select one Prize at random out of the Sunny Bucket. The Prize is subject to availability on each day of the Promotion Period.
(b) The Winner will select a Prize by choosing a wooden stick at random and pulling this out of the Sunny Bucket.
(c) The colour visible on the wooden stick’s end will dictate which of the Prizes is provided to the Winner (as provided at clause 5 above). The Prize cannot be returned, exchanged for another Prize, or exchanged for cash value.
(d) The Promotion Agent will provide each Winner with the relevant Prize in exchange for the wooden stick.
14. Accepting the Prize. Winners will be deemed to have accepted and claimed their Prize once it has been taken into their possession.
15. Announcing Winners. After the Winners accept the Prize, we may publicly announce their acceptance, along with their personal details (such as name and location) and we may also share this information if we are legally obligated to do so.
16. Restrictions for Winners. Winners cannot sell, pass on or donate the Prize to anyone else under any circumstances. Winners cannot return the Prize, exchange it for another Prize or exchange it for any cash value.
Other important terms
17. Decisions are final. Our decision on any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding.
18. How your personal data is used.
(a) Any personal information provided to us during the entry process (including but not limited to your name and e-mail address) must be correct. We accept no responsibility for any incorrect personal information provided to us.
(b) The Data Agent will hold your personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions and their privacy policy (available here: Privacy & Cookie Policy | Amondo ) and shall implement and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures in compliance with the GDPR and any other applicable law.
(c) The Agent will share your personal information with us to provide this Promotion. Additionally, we may use personal data of Winners to feature them as a Winner in our marketing activities. For more information on how we use personal data under this Promotion, please see our Privacy Notice.
19. Disclaimer. We are not responsible for any network, computer or software failures of any kind experienced during the entry process. You must take your own precautions (such as guarding against software viruses) to protect against loss or damage. We will also not be responsible for any infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights caused by your entry into this Promotion. If an Entry is entered more than once, we will not be responsible to the other participants in this Promotion. However, we will take reasonable steps to make sure a person cannot win more than one Prize. We also will not be responsible if we mistakenly award a Prize to someone who did not provide a qualifying Entry. However, we will take reasonable steps to make sure this does not happen. We also won't be responsible to any qualifying Entry if the Promotion can't go ahead, is delayed or cancelled because of a legal or regulatory issue, a systems failure, any technical failures of the Token-Grab Booth, the failure of a third party to carry out services or for any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
20. Our liability. We will not be liable for any losses (including indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), expenses or damage you or a third party suffers that are connected to this Promotion or by the acceptance or use of any Prize. This includes losses due to a delay or failure in performing an obligation to the Winner or other participants which is caused by:
● technical problems that may limit or prevent a person's participation in the Promotion, including technical failures of the Token-Grab Machine;
● any act or omission of any third party (such as those involved in providing services that may be relevant to the Prize), or
● any event beyond our control.
However, we do not exclude our liability for death, personal injury or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby exclude all warranties, representations, covenants, and liabilities (whether express or implied) relating to this Promotion and/or the Prize.
21. Invalidity. If any of part of these Terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any disputes, contractual or non-contractual, relating to these Terms.
