This means we’re leading the way in doing things the right way.

The globally recognised B Corp accreditation tells everyone that we’re currently the only UK building society which meets high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency when it comes to our environmental, social and governance impacts. The certification is awarded to businesses that are committed to benefitting all people, communities and the environment, something which strongly resonates with our business purpose. 

We live by the ‘All together, better’ purpose and there's no better display of this than being certified with the B Corp accreditation from B Lab - a non-profit network - acknowledging and supporting the work we do to impact society and the environment in a positive way. This includes our donations to charitable causes and our ongoing partnership with the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, Centrepoint. We’ve also received recognition for our efforts to service our customers’ financial needs as best as possible and were awarded Gold Ribbons savings and mortgages from Fairer Finance in Spring 2023.
