Centrepoint Logo - give young people a future

At the heart of everything we do lies a commitment to our communities. That's why we're proud to partner with Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity for young people facing homelessness. Centrepoint work tirelessly to support homeless young people, providing safe places to call home, expert guidance and essential training. They empower thousands of young people to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future.

This partnership reflects our shared belief in creating brighter futures.

We’ve donated £2m to help end youth homelessness

At the Preventing Youth Homelessness National Conference in February 2025, we announced a joint donation with The Co-operative Bank of £2m to support homelessness initiatives in our home cities of Coventry and Manchester. The donation is in addition to the existing contributions both our organisations have made towards supporting vulnerable young people.
The funds will support two leading youth homelessness charities, with £1m to Centrepoint and £1m to St Basils, to help build genuinely affordable homes for young people facing homelessness.

  • In Coventry, funds will support St Basils' Live and Work Model, combining high-quality, low-cost housing with employment support for 18-to-25-year-olds facing homelessness. This initiative offers young people stable, genuinely affordable housing and career opportunities, helping break the cycle of homelessness.

  • In Manchester, the donation will fund Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme, helping develop over 30 new homes in South-East Manchester. This initiative offers young people stable, affordable housing while supporting them with the skills and support needed to live independently.

And we’ll continue to support thousands of young people to find a safe place to call home

Earlier this year, we offered our Centrepoint Fixed ISA* so our members could save with us, while helping to donate to those in need. To support Centrepoint's mission to end youth homelessness, we've pledged to give a charitable donation** equal to 0.15% of total balances held in the account at the end of 31 March 2025 to Centrepoint.

Homelessness can feel like an endless storm, but with your help, we're working to bring sunny days back to those in need. A safe place to call home is the foundation for a life of opportunity, stability and success. Thank you to all our members that opened and funded the Centrepoint Fixed ISA, you’re helping to end youth homelessness and create stronger, more vibrant communities.
