We’re open Monday to Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. Outside these hours, you can use our self-service line (available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year). Select the option to cancel your card - we'll cancel it straight away and post you a replacement.

Your replacement card will be sent to the address we have for you on our records so remember to keep your details up to date and let us know if anything’s changed.

Cash machine kept your card

  • At a Coventry branch
    If your card was kept by a Coventry cash machine during office hours, please tell the branch staff immediately - we'll cancel the card and arrange for a new one to be posted to you. If the branch is closed, call us on 0800 121 8899.

  • At another bank’s cash machine
    We’ll need to replace your card. Call us immediately on 0800 121 8899.
    We’re open Monday to Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. Have your account number and password to hand.
    Outside these hours, you can use our self-service line (available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year). Select the option to cancel your card and we’ll post you a replacement.

Cash machine gave you the wrong cash

  • At a Coventry branch
    If a Coventry cash machine gives you the wrong amount during office hours, please tell the branch staff immediately. If the branch is closed, call us on 0800 121 8899. 

  • At another cash machine
    We'll need to investigate. Report this at your nearest branch, or call us as soon as possible on 0800 121 8899.
    We’re open Monday to Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. We’ll need your account number, password and details of what happened.
    We'll investigate and get back to you within 15 calendar days.

Transaction you don’t recognise

Call us on 0800 121 8899 as soon as possible, or let us know at any branch. If you have Online Services set up, you can send us a secure message.

Fraudulent email

If you receive an email that you suspect isn’t genuine, even if it looks like it’s from us, don’t respond to it and don’t follow any links in the email. Please forward a copy to suspiciousemail@thecoventry.co.uk and then delete the mail from your computer.

If you’ve responded to an email you now think might be fraudulent, change your Online Services password and run a full anti-virus scan on your computer. Please also check your account for any unusual transactions.
