Regardless of which route you pick, if you choose to switch with us we’ll only share Coventry Building Society mortgages. We’re unable to discuss other mortgage lenders products.

How to apply

Apply online

If you choose to apply online you'll need your 8-digit mortgage account number, property address and the name of the product you've picked.

Once you've logged on, we'll guide you through each step. It'll take about 15 minutes. But remember, we won't give you specialist advice.

If you don't meet the minimum requirements, please contact us on 0800 121 8899. We're open Monday to Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.

You can apply online if:

You don't want to change your mortgage amount, term or repayment basis

You don't want help to find the right mortgage for you

You're not taking a payment holiday and/or are not in arrears on your mortgage

You’re not a Portfolio Landlord – which means you don’t have four or more Buy to Let mortgaged properties

You have less than four months remaining on your existing mortgage deal or are on a managed variable rate

Apply by phone

If you apply by phone, we'll guide you through the process and advise which product might be best for you. It'll take around 45 minutes for a simple rate change, and a bit longer for anything else.

Once we've agreed your new rate, we'll send you all the paperwork. You'll just need to sign (an e-signature is fine).

You're taking a payment holiday and/or are in arrears on your mortgage

You are a Portfolio landlord

You have more than four months remaining on your existing mortgage deal

We’ll be carrying out routine maintenance from 9pm Thursday 24 October until the early hours of Friday 24 October, meaning our product transfer services will be unavailable. We’re sorry for any inconvenience.
