At Coventry Building Society, we're always doing our best to keep you safe online. So in the next few weeks, we're introducing a new way to log in and use your account that's easier and safer than ever before. These changes are all part of our commitment to putting our members and security first. 

Do I need to do anything now?


Know your security details

If you don't log in regularly, check you can log in to Online Services with your current security details. When the changes happen, you won't be able to manage your account online if your security details aren't up to date. 


Check your personal details

Make sure your home, mobile numbers and email address are up to date. If we don't have a home and/or mobile number for you, you won't be able to manage your account online when the changes happen.

Our new way of confirming it's you

There's some things that will change when you log in and use Online Services in the next few weeks, here are some important things to know.

You'll need to set up new security details

You'll have the option to choose a new Username that's more memorable, or use your current Web ID as your new username. You’ll be asked to create a new Online Password. You'll only need your grid card to manage your account by phone in the future. 

You'll receive an automated call 

You’ll receive an automated call to your home or mobile number. All you need to do is key or say the code shown on the Online Services screen into your phone. 
Don't worry - we'll guide you through all of the changes when they happen.

Take care 

Although these changes are designed to keep you safer than ever before, we know that fraudsters sometimes use times of change to trick customers into sharing their private banking details. We've designed the new process to be secure and reassuring, but if you receive any communications that make you suspicious or just don't feel right, it's always best to check.
